Reolink RLC-833A vs RLC-811A

RLC-833A: compact varifocal coverage
The 3× range is enough when you mainly need to fine-tune a porch, parking bay or short driveway after mounting. Its dome-style form factor is also less visually dominant on soffits and commercial ceilings.
RLC-811A: stronger long-range framing
The 13.5mm telephoto end and 31° horizontal view make the RLC-811A better when the evidence zone is farther away or narrower. That matters for gates, long driveways and focused identification zones.
Verdict: choose RLC-833A when compact installation and moderate zoom are enough. Choose RLC-811A when the same 4K sensor needs substantially tighter optical framing.
