Choose CX810 for difficult night scenes
The ColorX concept is aimed at preserving usable color detail in lower light without depending entirely on infrared monochrome. That can help when clothing, vehicle color or contextual detail matters at night.
Choose RLC-811A when distance is the harder problem
Its 5× optical zoom gives much more control over pixel density on a gate, driveway or narrow evidence zone. A low-light advantage cannot compensate for a subject that occupies too few pixels in the frame.
Verdict: low-light scene with broad coverage → CX810. Known distant target where optical framing matters → RLC-811A.
